What we pay
We're known for paying the most in town, and for being the pickiest. Being selective is how we offer the best price possible for every piece we buy. You choose how you're paid: cash on the spot, or trade credit, which gets you more to spend in store. We're not consignment, so you get paid the same day.
When to come in
Walk in any time trade is open. Trade closes one hour before the store closes: 7pm Monday to Saturday and 5pm on Sunday at both Planet Xchange stores.
What we look for
- Current name brands: mall, designer and athletic.
- Vintage (2000 and older) and one-of-a-kind pieces.
- Shoes, belts, purses and wallets.
- Clean, odor-free and ready to sell.
- Mostly about 3 years old or newer, except timeless pieces and vintage.
What we don't buy
- Intimates (underwear, socks, bras).
- Worn or dirty shoes.
- Anything that needs cleaning or repair.
Items we pass on go back to you, or you can donate them to our sister store, Greater Goods.

- Bringing luxury or designer pieces? Bring receipts or authenticity papers if you have them.

Do I need an appointment to sell?
No. Come in any time trade is open, which is until one hour before closing.
How much will you pay for my clothes?
We're known for paying the most in town. We offer the best price possible for every piece we buy, and you can take cash on the spot or more in trade credit.
Is Planet Xchange a consignment store?
No. We buy your items outright, so you get paid on the spot: cash, or more in trade credit.

What condition do items need to be in?
Clean, odor-free and ready to sell. Most items should be about 3 years old or newer, unless they're timeless or vintage.
What counts as vintage?
Pieces from 2000 or earlier.
What don't you buy?

What happens to items you don't buy?
