What We Do

Picky, picky.

We say “no, thank you” to over 1,000 items a day, and “yes” to an average of 200!

What this means to you is a fresh assortment daily of hand selected, name brand and one of a kind items to add to your wardrobe.

Pick something up to accessorize what you already have, or, at these prices, you can start from scratch.

We’ll even trade you yours for ours, or give you cash on the spot.

Do you carry plus sizes? Do you accept pantsuits, dresses?

  2. We accept Women’s sizes up to 20 & XXL.
While we do accept dresses, we rarely pay cash for business suits, and the like. Our customers are mostly concerned with the name brand and “hip factor” of an item, not what that item actually is.

how much do you usually buy the clothes for? I’m trying to determine if it would be worth the hour drive to the closest store.

What brands are you all accepting these days? I had a friend take some clothing in the other day and she was told that you all were no longer allowed to accept certain brands.

Also, I have several pairs of American Eagle jeans. So you all accept AE jeans?

  6. Katie,
There are lterally thousands of brands we take, and even more that we don’t. We have built a reputation on being very picky, which we feel gives our customer the best shopping experience possible.
American Eagle is one of the many brands we accept. Bring them in and let a buyer look at them. If we can use them, we’ll offer you cash on the spot or trade credit.
    Thanks, Beth

  7. Aeropostle and Pac Sun are brands that are accepted when inventory is low, but we prefer brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Lucky, J. Crew, etc.
The best thing to do is bring them in and let a buyer give you a quote.

    Thanks, Beth

  8. Amber,
Once an item is accepted, it is priced on many factors: original price, brand, condition, color, size and inventory need.
For obvious reasons, we cannot give you a quote without looking at the item(s).

    Thanks.

Is trading all you do or can you just come and shop?

    October 21, 2011
  14. Absolutely! You, and customers like you, are the reason we trade in the first place.

Do you accept New York & Company Jeans?

    December 9, 2011
  20. New York & Company is something that doesn’t sell as well for us as J. Crew, Banana Republic, Miss Me & similar brands. We take it if it is a size that we need.
Your best bet is to come in & let a buyer look at what you have. If it’s something we can use, you will leave with cash on the spot!

    December 9, 2011
  22. Lucky Brand is one of our best sellers, and therefore, one we like to buy.
